Brian Bordainick started The 9th Ward Field Of Dreams to rebuild the athletics department and football stadium at Carver High in the 9th Ward in New Orleans.
Having already raised 1.1 million of the 1.9 million dollar project, he's getting some help from Superbowl XLVII New Orleans Saints Champion Drew Brees and Marshall Faulk. During the superbowl, and still now, you can text “DREAM” to 50555 and make a $10 donation to the cause.
The Saints proved that as a team we can accomplish anything, together, this team is uniting a community, rebuilding hope, and changing the game.
