It's That Time Of Year Again Folks: Break Out Your 'Stache Wax And Get Growin'!!

Last year was the first I'd heard of Movember, a month-long grow-a-thon for men and their mustaches all across the globe.
This year, I have not forgotten.

Here's the jist: Movember's primary campaign objective is to raise awareness of men's health issues, specifically cancers affecting men. They want everyone to know that most cancers are highly curable if caught in the early stages- including prostate and testicular cancer. Movember aims to increase early detection, diagnosis and effective treatment, as this will ultimately reduce the number of deaths from cancer.
That's something good.

I have a couple friends (Peter Marlenga and Lloyd Scott Barnard) that are 'donating their faces' to this good cause and because I can't grow one myself, I encourage you to ... if you can.
If you can't, support the cause in ways that you can: make a donation, sport a stick on and attend a party or spread the word (i.e repost this story on your FaceBook, email this link to a friend with facial hair potential or a checkbook, tell someone you read Something Good about mustaches, it doesn't matter how you do it just spread it!)
