I'm on my way to New York.
I'm leaving in less than 10 minutes - but I want all of you to know, before I get there, that when I get there I'm going to eat some bread.
If you happen to be in New York, you should eat bread too.
This is why.
Hot bread kitchen was started by an Echoing Green fellow and to me it sounds like Something Good.
Here's the deal:
"Hot Bread Kitchen is more than a bakery. It's a business that enhances the future for immigrant women and preserves baking traditions. For your munching pleasure, we offer fresh breads baked with traditional recipes from around the world. We make it a priority to use local and organic ingredients.
Hot Bread Kitchen also honors the culinary traditions of peoples from all over the world. Preservation of diverse techniques and ingredients is crucial in the face of corporate globalization that tends to homogenize diversity."
I'm going to have some tastey treats, meets some amazing folks and hopefully come back with loads of good to share with all of you; in case you missed the last story I'm going to All Day Buffet's The Feast.
Wish me luck! Maybe I'll see you there!?
